Please join us for an inspiring, collaborative afternoon of talks, workshops and conversations where teachers of all levels, EdTech providers, academics, foresight planners, publishers and local and national policy makers can meet to gain greater insight into each other's view points and co-create a positive and appealing vision of the future of teaching by focusing on teacher wellbeing.
Teacher wellbeing is often overshadowed, in the news and in research, by student wellbeing, but the two go hand in hand and a teacher can influence the lives of many students. DEFI has developed significant experience in organising multi-stake holder events to imagine preferred future/s and then to guide participants in the steps necessary to ensure that they are achievable.
The challenge of teacher wellbeing is a complex one and we do not imagine that it could be resolved in a half day workshop. However convening multiple stakeholders and creating a community with a shared resolve to improve the situation is a good first step. We hope to maintain and grow this community to continue to work on this theme.
