A new discipline of Collective Intelligence (CI) is emerging and it is widely recognised that CI supported by artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to change our world. Managing our emerging CI/AI capabilities requires careful design thinking and the creation of new educational and research infrastructures.
In this talk, Michael Hogan will outline some basic and applied research in the area of collective intelligence, focusing in particular on the overlapping territories of collective intelligence and applied systems science.
